Since the last update, some exciting things have happened for STORM THE CASTLE!. We've finalized the track listing and gone into pre-production on our EP, which we hope to begin recording in late January or early February. In addition, we've played some excellent shows.
The future looks good for STORM THE CASTLE!. There is some talk about a couple VERY exciting shows to come at the beginning of next year, but we can't say anything until they're confirmed. And of course, there's a show coming up on December 2nd at the Dart Room in Fayetteville.
As always, there's some fun action in the blog, and if you haven't yet, check out our MySpace!

If we have neglected the website recently, it's only because we've been too busy rocking. Thanks to everyone who came out to our last couple shows. They were even better than we could have hoped. It's nice to be back. We've updated the live pictures section with some shots from our shows at The Delicious and The Gypsy.
We'll be taking a little time now to work on some more new material. Our next show is in November with RWAKE. Needless to say, we're excited. Until then, we'll be keeping a low profile. If you can't wait, check out our new t-shirt designs. Plus, you can always check out our blog or befriend us on MySpace.
Also, if you're interested in having us play, shoot us an e-mail. (STC@stormthecastle.org)

Things are well in the Storm The Castle! camp. Morale is high as we begin on our quest for world domination. We're excited to be playing soon. We hope to see you at our show on September 16, at The Gypsy in Fayetteville. The show sponsored by our favorite radio station, KXUA, where our bass player is the host of Thunder Mountain, the Saturday morning metal show. Check it out on the web.
This space is generally reserved for really important band announcements... but if you want the low down on more casual matters, like what practices are like, or what we think about other bands, or what stupid crap on the internet we currently find funny, check out our blog. And make sure to leave comments! We want to hear from you!

Well, it's been a long hard fought battle, but Storm The Castle! finally has a bass player! Our good friend Joel showed up to practice yesterday, and he blew everyone in the band away. So, the quest for low-end has been conquered.
Since we now have a bass player, we can now play shows. Our return from hiatus will occur at the KXUA back to school bash at The Gypsy in Fayetteville, on September 16. Remember this date and prepare yourselves! We'll talk more about this event as it approaches.
In other news, we've been in the studio a lot recently. We've completed demoing on a few songs, and we've begun demoing on two more. All we can say about the new stuff right now is this: Metal.
Finally, if you didn't know already, there are two new songs up on our Myspace page... One of these songs is short and to the point. The other is a near-ten-minute epic with a sweet harmonized guitar solo. Check them both out!

Welcome to stormthecastle.org! We've updated the site to make it a little more user friendly. We hope you like the changes.
In other Storm The Castle! news, we're about to head into the studio to demo some songs for our upcoming EP. It's very exciting. The new songs are far more intricate and intense than our older songs. We think everyone will be pleasantly surprised.
As always, check out the website, and if you haven't already, befriend us on MySpace. And definitely make sure to go to our merch page to check out our T-shirts... they're pretty awesome if we do say so ourselves.

Welcome to the new and improved STORM THE CASTLE! website! Much has changed in the last several months. We've received several very positive reviews, and we've begun writing new material for our debut EP! We're excited about the near future, as many good things are about to happen.
Before we mention anything else, we'd really like to thank a couple people for helping make this website what it is now. Preston Graves helped us a lot by drawing the picture that's on our splash page and our t-shirts, as well as the image on our shows page. He rules, and we hope to get tons of pictures out of him in the future. In addition, we'd really like to thank Shea Matthis for making the badical image on our contact page. He has acheived an great victory by making us an great image, and at no cost!
Please stick around and explore the site a little. We've finally added tons of content: music, pictures, a blog... we even have t-shirts! Send us an e-mail at STC@stormthecastle.org to let us know what you think of the new website, and if you haven't already, be our friend on MySpace!
